Ghanooni Engagement Session, Gas Works Park, Seattle Washington Issaquah and Seattle Wedding and Lifestyle Photographer

Katie and I connected through one of my past wedding clients from last year.  It's been so much fun being able to connect with her as we prepare for her wedding.  This last weekend, I photographed Katie and Josh's engagement session at Gas Works Park in Seattle.

As we were trying to narrow down our choices for places to photograph at, I asked Katie, if she had any locations in mind that might have a special meaning or significance.  Katie suggested Gas Works Park.  She said she used to live in the area and would come here with her sister for picnics, for walks, and jogging.  It's a place where she's had many meaning conversations and has made a lot of memories.  I LOVE that!  It's so special when we're able to find locations that have meaning and significance.

Gas Works Park in Seattle has a beautiful skyline view of Seattle with the Space Needle peeking through the background.  The old abandoned gas park adds a beautiful industrial feel to the setting.  I love that the water is so close as well.

Katie said that she never expected to get married.  I'm so happy for her and Josh to have found each other.  Love comes unexpectedly sometimes.  Marriage and finding my eternal companion have been such a blessing in my life.  Katie is one of the SWEETEST people you will ever meet!  I'm excited for Katie and Josh as they move forward on this journey together!  I can't wait until this fall for their wedding!
